My tire exploded (literally) while driving yesterday - any suggestions on a cheap way to get new tires?

lots of tire companies sell used tires, when ppl come in and replace tires prematurely or get bigger wheels and ditch the old tires, anyway ask around for a place that sells used ones. |

Yeah milkman that's what I've done in the past. Curious to see if there's a better way though.
I was driving up to the casino's in the mountains and hit a big pot hole. Luckily it was close enough to the casino's when it happened that I was able to drive in to a parking lot, though the car was weaving all over by the time I got to it, haha. |

ive been to those casinos. I hated driving those mountainous roads. Lots of twists and turns. Good thing you were close because it'd have sucked to be a few miles out.
I just bought 4 brand new tires and it cost 5xx$ I ended up getting some new brakes too. The total bill was 681.82$ in which I just used Pokerstars concierge service to pay for it. Ship ship
It's pretty tough to find them cheaper than 100+ per tire new but I like the security of having new tires. Also, I drive an Explorer so my tires might be more expensive. |

I've always bought generic new tires from any regular tire store for like $70-$80, cant really complain. Btw I hope you didnt drive more than half a mile on a flat tire, doing so can severely damage your wheel. In the future you should stop immediately and just call the tow truck/change it yourself. |

Drove for about 1 minute after I realized it was fucked up - not sure how long it was fucked up before I noticed though. Maybe another minute. The car seems to be driving fine now after I got 2 new tires so I don't think it's fucked up. Normally I would stop right away but I was on a mountain road with no shoulder and a guard rail at the outer edge cause there's a canyon wall on the other side and I could see the parking lot ahead and didn't want to block traffic to change my tire. Fun times.

man tires and brakes. 1st priority. esp in countries like yours with freeways like that. exploding tires and/or faulty brakes are the last things i would want to happen. just make sure you buy reliable ones |
