So I know we have a few financial gurus among the regular posters here at LP. I'm wondering if any of you have done the CFA level 1 exam, and if so, if you have any preparation tips.
So far I've worked my way through 72/74 chapters, doing all the practice questions in the book as well as the ones in the Schweser study notes.
I found 2 practice exams online but haven't been able to find any more as of yet. If anyone has a source for more of these it would be greatly appreciated.
My exam is in less than 2 weeks, so its uber crunch time.

gl guys. I passed level 1 before I resigned. I may write level 2 when I decide to enter the real world again though. My best advice is just do tons of timed practice exams. Of course you might not have time to set aside for the full exam, just ratio down the appropriate time for how many questions you are doing obviously. Then work through all the questions you missed afterward so you'll be able to knock off those type of questions the next time through. Practice the exam more and the material less if that makes sense. Especially this late in the game and especially for level 1 where it felt like it served you best to be familiar with a bunch of topics even if you only had a very shallow understanding of them. That is, knowing a little about a lot of things is much better than knowing in depth about only a few topics. gl again. |

I'll do one every day between now and the exam if I can. Where do you guys find all these practice exams? |

I was fortunate enough to have access to schweser notes. I think the actual former exams used to be available for free online but I may be mistaken.

Ya the schweser notes were available on torrents along with 2 practice exams. I'll look again for past exams but i don't think they're published.
Thx all for the well-wishes. |
