She's been working with families with Aids which makes her risk of infection higher the average, but still really small. This, like red pointed out, is however something I'm not rational about and the discomfort and worrying I'd have to go through to do something about it ain't worth the reward so I'll probably keep my phobia since that's most +ev for me emotionally.

Pretty sure she went to help them but she's sleeping with me which by some guilt by association leads me to believe that she doesn't value great care and compassion so much as other attributes.

alright well I guess if you don't feel liuke its something you can or want to 'get over' or what not, I really wouldn't give her this as the reason (Because its dumb and it'll really come off wrong to her & probably hurt her feelings for no reason). Just tell her you aren't interested in her/she isn't for you/whatever. I mean, I guess if you want to have a relationship with her you could figure out a way to ask if she had sex in africa, and then you could probably say something about how they have a massive AIDs epidemic and you would like her to get tested before you get intimate.
