yea i think aggressively moving up in hu sngs is the way to go. I have been playing the 33 dollar games for about two months now and have cashed out down to 600 about 5 times and never had any problems with variance or anything that woulda busted me. And you can always just move back down if it doesn't work out,

Hmm Yeah. I actually found HU SnG.com for the first time just now and was reading it for a bit and I think aggressive shots sound like a good idea.

Not sure if this is a joke or not tho. Do you mean that the EV Graph of most winning tournament players look like this? Am I still correct to think I have a big edge in these things?

i used to think what gsr said too, it's an easy mental lapse. i think he means that because good regs always put there money in good that they don't really suck out ever but instead are the ones getting sucked out. therefore he concludes that he is running under ev. but he doesn't yet realize that every time he wins, even though he is a favorite he wins the entire pot not just 80% of it. which means every time his hand holds he is actually running above ev.

anyway play both. HU is the best for your poker game, and 6max is more fun imo.

If you win 5 times in a row a 80% favorite hand. You are sucking out ! (32% of winning it)

ive had some success at the 110s (7% roi over 1000 games) and 230s (12% roi 600 games). Im down quite a bit at 345s and 570s though. You are more than welcome to watch me over mikogo, send me a pm if interested. Most important thing for me is not to play too many tables. I started off 4/5 tabling and it just didnt work for me. I now 2/3 table with mtt or 9 man sng on the side and have had much better results.
