I'm pretty lost in the jungle of trainingsites out there and it was far to long ago i studied the game thru videos so i feel like starting again. If you can you give me some tips on which site i should become a member of and specific instructors on that site i should view it would be a great help!
I'm currently playing nl200-400 so i guess midstakes videos is what Im looking for, up to nl1k and such. I want to learn more PLO as well but its NLH thats really important.
Adding a poll but please write in the comment as well for instructors.
Poll: Which trainingsite?
(Vote): CardRunners
(Vote): DC
(Vote): LeggoPoker
(Vote): BlueFire
On another note i will take a two week trip to Las Vegas and stay at Bally's june 24th - july 8, anyone else gonna stay there or be nereby and maybe wanna eat/play some livepoker (gonna play mostly 1/3 i assume) ? Just PM me =)

meh don't think he should even bother with wiltontilt if he plays nl 200+ imo
watch noahSD, grindcore, Foxwoodsfiend, Krantz, jk3a, and obv the super old dogisheadsup video imo.
if cardrunners wasn't like 1 mirrion dollars it would prob be ok 2, but considering the fee to sign up, enrollment fees, and monthly fees i think your looking at like 130 for your first month compared to DC which is 30 dollars. plus DC has a really good pl0 section too in my opinion. i'm so impressed with their female instructor vannessa selbst i think. she prob doesn't look to hot though, as it's damn near impossible to have a hot, good poker player.
i've never touched bluefire or leggopoker so i can't say. i 'm not to sure about the prices either. |

I can say leggopoker is okay with aejones and luckychewy, but they suffer from a serious lack of videos to choose from and quality instructors when I was subscribed to them for a brief time. |

I've signed up for virtually every training site out there, including lesser known ones such as PokerSavvy and the one that Daniel Negreanu made (lol) and in my opinion BlueFirePoker is the best. Obviously the main instructor is Phil Galfond, who makes the best videos on any site by a long way, he makes both NLHE and PLO videos. BFP also has DrGiggy who makes some of the best mid to high stakes NLHE videos online, they have punketty also, who is makes good NLHE content, though I'm not a huge fan of his style and there's a few decent PLO videos by SoCalQuest, though DC has better PLO content. I think DC is a great chocie too, and is pretty close with BFP. Top instructors there are KRANTZ, whitelime, FoxWoodsFiend and Ansky, LP's own nolan makes videos there too, though I haven't watched any of them and can't really speak for any of the other small to midstakes videos as I pretty much only watch the high stakes instructors. CR and Leggo I don't even subscribe to anymore cause they've been steadily going downhill imo. I don't find aejones to be a good instructor at all, he's entertaining and all, but that's about it imo. Leggo also has nutsinho, luckychewy, ashman and some others but I don't find them to be great coaches either even though they clearly are good players. I barely even know who makes videos for cardrunners anymore, with cts and sbrugby both leaving, and their High Stakes content lacking for a long long time imo, I just don't think they're even close to being the "leaders" of the instructional sites anymore. I'd stay clear of both CR and leggo and sign up for BFP and DC, whom are both by far the best training sites.
There are other smaller sites who may have 1 decent instructor, like PokerSavvy used to have Ansky until he moved to DC, but they're generally not worth it, and are far inferior to the 2 leaders, BFP and DC. |

cardrunners = pooruser, nutedawg, irock, jcl, sick collection of cts and sbrugby, also there is internet pokers but i didn't saw his video for a while, also i think they add jungleman12 but still didn't see video from him
if you play on FTP you can get Cardrunners for free on truly free poker training
leggopoker = i'm thinking to sign for it.. i'm realy curious about boywonder .. there was so much talking about him on 2+2, obv aejones, luckychewy, bobofet, ashman... they are all good players i belive
dc = is great , you can download their videos and watch them whenever you want... and there was something like 7days free and you cancel your subscription after that
bfp = phil galfond ftw. , i'm not subscribed there but i saw some of his videos.. they were sick.. i'll probably go w/ BFP
also there is this new site dragthebar, w/ leatherass, mbolt, jarad tandler ... i loved their videos on stoxpoker, but i have no idea how good they are now |
