There seems to be a general consensus among people that I shouldn't do it, so it looks like for the time being...

Pride could be something that can be holding you back. Just swallow it, move down, crush, regain confidence and bankroll. Then continue crushing NL200. I know it sucks when the poker gods decide to bone you when your bankroll is vulnerable but whatever shit happens.

Nah it doesn't have anything to do with pride, but it bugs me when I feel like there is wasted potential I guess? It doesn't feel the same as if I take a shot and fail, then move down.

Wouldn't you make more money at NL100 than having to share your winnings at NL200? It seems that unless a stake is for much higher level than you'd play otherwise, you really don't profit from it since you have to share profits. At the same time, staking someone for them to play several levels about their stakes doesn't sound like a good proposition for the staker, not counting the potential for scam. So uh, I guess I am saying staking is a bad idea for at least one of the parties involved most of the time.

I was thinking about a 60/40 type stake in my favor. There's more rakeback as well so I think that would be favorable for me.

The other thing is by playing NL100, the potential for making more money is being wasted, and although it doesn't really affect me directly if I shared that with a staker, it still kinda bothers me.
