What up LP?

Im a long time lurker, poker/starcraft player. I just got the New SC2 and Im kicking ass :D I also am playing a lot of poker now so I figured this would be a good place to start up a blog and get some help form you guys on hands and stuff! I think blogging can help me out a bit because I dont really get to talk about poker with anyone because none of my friends are serious about poker or even know how to play for the matter.

Im a 25nl FR player atm. Trying to move up from busto stakes to the 100nl bum stakes before the summer. Ive got a pretty lacking schedule at school right now so I have a lot more time to put into my poker. Right now Im just going to school and Im in my last year so its just about time to get back into the real world and get a serious job. But for now I just wanna stack as much loot as possible!

I think I have become a bit too comfy at 25nl because Ive been playing it for a while now. I can grind out enough money for beers and food and a few bills with ease so Ive just gotten into the same old routine. Its hard for my roll to grow because Im always taking off small amounts every week. Next semester I have a super light schedule so Im probably going to get a part time job. Never really felt the need to get one while Im at school but I will just have so much free time on my hands that I might as well just keep building the resume.

Like I said earlier I just got SC2! I used to play this game a ton when I was 13-16 years old. I was never really that great at the game but always loved the challenge. I mean Im definitely not a SC noob. Right now Im 1st in my Bronze league division. I have no idea how the ladder system works tho so thats probably not much of an accomplishment but I thought it was cool lol. I tried out all the races durning those first 50 novice games that you get to play at the start and Ive gone back to my old roots, Terran. Been watching a lot of replays lately looking for some build orders and strategies. I feel like Ive got some pretty good basic strategies for each match up. I havent really seen a lot of good cheesey strategies in the replays tho so if you know any good Terran replays where they cheese for the win link it in the comments! :D Also, I know TL.net is a good place for replays but what are some other great sites for SC2 replays?

Anyways, I got a lot I want to talk about but Im going to save it for another day. Getting pretty late and I wanna get a few SC games in before I crash.

Later guys, Looking forward to LP!

Welcome to LP sir

Bronze league, tbh, is like the special olympics lol. I'm sure you will rise fast though

How many hands have you played at nl25? nl100 is no bum stakes online. There are serious grinders making a living at those stakes, and is about 10x as hard as any equatable stakes live game you will ever find. However, with this being your first time to LP, I don't really have a base to your poker knowledge.

Good luck with school/poker/sc2!

Ive played about 300k hands at 25nl winning around 3ptbb/100. I could for sure take shots at 50nl but i keep my roll small.

lol @ special olympics. I would be in a higher division but i was so tired of doing tvt i quit 3/5 of those qualifying matches lol. how do you move up leagues?
