I have Iphone myself, would recommend one as well, but honest advice: just play with both, and go with whatever u like most.

If you can afford it, just get the iphone. I think blackberry is worth it if you want a smartphone but don't want to spend too much money... but IMO apps are better and its just a a lot slicker on the iphone. I'm not actually 100% sure about the top end blackberries cos I've only got the 8520 curve but from what I have seen of others who have the bold, the internet is a bit faster (i.e. 3G...) and the phone is just faster in general. Oh lol also bbm = slightly faster txting. Pretty unnecessary if you ask me.

Email is really easy to get working on the blackberry but it seriously doesn't outweigh the iphone at all in a direct comparison.

However the new HTC's are pretty lovely, have you considered/got the option to get one of those? Because they CAN stand up to the iphone in several respects straight up after using a friends for a bit (the desire), they even have flash for the browser and super easy wireless tethering to laptops and all sorts, and also the contracts can be much cheaper.

blackberry no good, its about either iphone or deecent android phone nowadays

if you take good care of your phones and like a touchscreen keyboard then you'll like the iphone. Having used multiple blackberries/iphones myself, I'm an android convert now, so I recommend that. The blackberry would be at the very bottom of my list.

Depends on your provider actually, the Torch is pretty sweet if you're a BB fan, OS6 is fantastic and BB just has alot going for it. I'd stay away from iPhones, if you're not a BB fan, I'd go Android (HTC is my pick for Android devices, or Samsung Galaxy S). Or you could try a new Windows Phone 7, Telus is about to get the HTC Surround 7 :o

My stupid fucking company is switching from Tmo to Verizon and getting us all new blackberries. I just put that shit in a box and bought an HTC instead, which I will now have to go out and buy another apparently. Sucks too, these inbreds dont even use the BB for any practical purpose. They just like to feel important and look like businessmen with it strapped to their belt buckle like a total douche.
