NL50 and below is generally not like it used to be. It's not impossible by any means but when you're paying 5% rake in every single pot you play it really adds up fast. It's just hard because the games have gotten much more difficult but the 5% rake has stayed the same.
It's easier to table select and beat a soft 1/2 game than it is to beat a .10/.25 game full of nits with 5% rake. |
