Hi guys, this is my first blog entry (2nd actually but 1st was about $ transfer) and i wanted to share my pkr experience with you guys :D.
I´ve been playing poker for more than a year now, gone up from nl5 to nl 25 and nl50 where i stand now, this month is going great so far apart from the recent downswing where i lost 5 Bis .

(nl25 / nl50)

I usually play 18 tables stacked, this doesn´t give me much time (or none) to think about my hands while playing them, after my the sessions i usually review my missplays and see that im playing really bad in some spots i didnt even imagined, in spots where the stacks are going in i think i play most of them good after reviewing but the small pots which are pretty important i play pretty F***in bad lol and its not enough to review them, i need to learn what to do and how to react accordingly.

As of right now im playing poker just for fun, i don´t really need the money because my fathers pay me my college and give me $ monthly, i spend poker money on things for myself like car-audio SC2 partys etc.. things i can live without (or not ), and my plan now is to buy a 24" monitor so i can reduce my tables to 12 playing tile or maybe less and start learning more from the game with less focus on the $.

My goal in poker is to move up until i think i can live only playin it, i mean... the average wage in my country is 550$ and the unnemployment is 11% and moving up so i dont think i can really just get a job and live from that that easily... (don´t get me wrong i want to finish my degree 4sure)

Maybe i will buy some CRunners/Dcracked membership dunno which one is better.

I would appreciate if u leaved some ideas thoughts about how to learn faster and really if its a good idea, i think this is a problem of many regs not only mine :S.

I'll give the advice that you're gonna hear from almost everyone: If you want to improve your play you have to play less tables.

It'll be very hard to change your tendencies just by analysing a few hands after the session.

play less tables. and if you dont want to play less tables at the very least dont stack them. you need to be able to watch hands and think about them, cant pay attention to crap when stacking.

Gonna disagree with people. I think the focus at the micro stakes is to progress through the stakes as quickly as possible, and if you can continue to win at ~2BB/100 18 tabling I'd suggest just continuing doing that until you can no longer win, you'll make a better hourly this way and enable yourself to move up stakes quicker. When you start struggling (Not just 5 buyins in a short sample) then cut tables and start to focus on improving rather than just moving up asap. Same as any other competitive game or sport, you really need to be playing better competition to improve significantly anyway and in order to play better competition you need to build a bigger bankroll and play in tougher games, the fastest way to do that is to continue what you're doing. Cutting tables to a quarter of what you're currently playing for even double the winrate is still going to result in half the hourly income and as a result you'll move up slower.

A few years ago when I was moving up through the limits 50NL where I first started to struggle (aka winning at 1BB/100 instead of the 5 or 6 or whatever I was winning at the lower stakes) and decided to get a CardRunners subscription. It propelled my game to a big winner at 50NL in no time, went on to crush 100NL for 5.5BB/100 and move up quickly to 1000NL in a little over 6 months. Back then CardRunners was the only choice really, but nowadays I would recommend DC over CR, I think it has stronger Hold'Em content. BlueFirePoker is better still but is largely aimed at midstakes and high stakes players, there's very little low and micro stakes content. With that being said I would clearly recommend a subscription at DeucesCracked asap, I wouldn't say that you'd even need to wait until you're struggling, just subscribe asap. If you can't afford it at the moment, you can get a free trial which allows you 7 days of free access, watch what you can in that time frame and if you like what you see/hear then pay for a subscription. I think it's well worth it for any player who doesn't have a subscription at an instructional site, every other regular does so you're doing yourself a big disservice by not subscribing.

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope
