Xrays, groping pat downs, nude scans - the TSA has gone wayyyy too far.

Its not some fucking bawdy perv feeling you up and wanking over the xray image of your body. Theyre professionals doing work that hopefully will stop some nutter blowing up your plane.

I guess the same people would refuse a prostate examination because the procedure is gay and theyd rather have colon cancer than have a finger up their ass.

This is silly. Everyone is complaining and I don't really understand why. If you want to fly you should have to forfeit some liberties. I really don't know why this is the vogue talking point atm.

Now I really am a busto. Thanks FTP.

I could care less. However, I think some resistance is good so that they can't do whatever they want without facing any challenges. So while I view the whole issue as being pretty silly and pointless, they all serve a purpose in the big picture imo.

I say they open up 2 lines at the airport. One for a plane with no security procedures at all, anyone can just buy a ticket and walk up and board it, and the other with the security measures we have in place. You get to choose which plane to fly on. I wonder which one people will choose.

Also, people keep talking about civil liberties and your right to travel and fly and all this stuff, but dont forget that this is an airplane, clearly capable of massive destructible force. Our military currently does not posses any missile technology short of some sort of tactical nuke which can destroy a 100 story building in a single hit. But an airplane did. Which is basically what it is, a gigantic self-guiding cruise missile with 40,000 tons of fuel and pinpoint accuracy. We arent boarding taxi cabs here, or driving down the interstate in mom's minivan. These are very powerful machines which require the utmost in security. It's only natural the gov't get involved like this.

I dont like the TSA's current standards, nor do I like all the security for old white women and children who clearly are not a threat. The threat is from radical muslims. They are singularly the only group of people on this planet who have proven time and time again their willingness and capability to perform acts of terror the rest of us cant even think of. Where does that leave us? I dont know. I dont know how to handle that whole sticky mess of who to check and who not to. And I do agree in some form of security at airports, but im not a security expert so I dont know what to recommend. I just dont agree with either side's arguments for or against it. Some people dont want airport security because they feel it invades upon their persona liberties, but fuck that, I dont give a shit about your liberties. However I do agree that patting people down is a waste of time and not going to solve anything that existing metal detectors and what not already did.

bye now

Also I would be willing to give Ron a shot at the presidency for a single term, just to see what he can do, if anything.

The plane security hype is pretty ridiculous. At least in Europe (not just EU) you can go by train and smuggle pretty much anything, anywhere with minimal risk of getting caught, no security checks. But if you go by plane. you have to go through several security check points that is more fake security than any real security. And wtf is up with the fluid rule, if you're carrying something that is explosive, that amount could still cause enough damage to take a plane down -.-

first off, I think you vastly underestimate the lengths a terrorist would go to in order to get shit done.

But, since you mention this i suggest the following:

Black people should have security guards follow them when shopping to make sure they dont steal and Asians should be forbidden from dog ownership because they might eat it.

More people die from honey bee's than terrorists. The truth is if a terrorist wanted to strike he would choose a shopping mall or a football game. The TSA thing is a bullshit power play by the government to erode our civil liberties. And you know good and well there are two TSA guys in a control room high fiving when a hot girl goes through the scanner.

What does the government get out of eroding our civil liberties? And its not like the image that comes up on the scanner is just a chick with her clothes off. They can only see it for a few seconds, not save it to their computer and email it to all their friends.

What do those in power want? They want more power! How do you think this will end? Eventually every time you go to a sporting event or a shopping mall there will be scanners and security check points. They already have cameras at most intersections. They have legalized wire tapping with the echelon program. It will keep building and building until we have a complete police state.

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds that Darkness is always there first, waiting for it.

ahaha, typically i agree with the ideas you throw out, but get over it.

who cares if someone in some airport security line can see the contours of your body. you're not modeling for some magazine. it's just security.

if you're that self-conscious about yourself, stay indoors

No, cmon, dont fuckin bullshit me. Radical Islam is a special kind of threat. Yeah I know various religions have committed various atrocities throughout history, but Islam is current, Islam is now, and it is real. There is no religion with a higher population that poses the kind of threat that radical Islam does today. You are right to to fear the black gangbangers in the hood just as much as you are right to fear a group of 4 muslim men riding with AK's in the Pakastani desert. You know goddamn well you are more afraid of the 40 year old guy wearing a turban than the 14 year old wearing a lakers hat when they board the plane.
