You have to live with the fact that you're human. Humans make mistakes, and if you can't accept this you'll be unhappy for a very long time. You must be able to forgive yourself, but not forget. Because what humans can do is learn from their mistakes to attempt to not make it happen again.

Yes , i think thats standard.
Nobody can enjoy life if every single mistake u make ( And since we are human everyone of us does little mistakes almost every week)

What does intrest me is more when someone does similar mistakes over and over again or maybe fucks up so big 1 time that at u think it is just too much that gone wrong to ever be able to forgive again

This quote is meant to bring people happiness and i am sure temporarily it will work out quite good.
Its kind of a complete redemption for both the one who did the mistake and the one who suffered from it.
No matter how fucked up the shit was u or someone else did this is the point for u both to start new.

So thats how i stumbled upon the quote.

I myself dont beliefe in spiritual non physical beings and stuff ...
Its just the message that i am interested since in my personal life there is someone i had a relationship with that turned out so completely fucked up that i am not sure how to deal with the things that happen now.

when first reading that quote it felt like releave from pain
But few seconds later i realized that probably is BS that would make things even worse.

the quote in itself is not wrong or bullshit, it's the person who's saying it who is worthy of ridicule. she is not saying anything original and is completely delusional and making a living from it. i can think of many quotes that are over 2000 years old from stoics such as marcus aurelius that say more or less the same thing:

none of these things crossed my mind; my only interest was in exposing the fraud that hicks is now that you brought it up, so that you don't get caught in it like your MMA friend did. these people prey on people being lost and vulnerable seeking a direction and answers. the alternatives that i have brought to you here are healthier and undogmatic and you're never going to have to waste money and time attending seminars to become a better, more fulfilled person.

everything that happens is a direct result of the past, what is most important however is now and the future. After all, it's the only thing we can influence.

Also that quote is more motivation towards the possibility of change rather than a reality, change is very possible but ignoring the past is absurd, the past is experience... past is actually life, i have my own theory about that if anyone is interested

I think the first half of the quote can be true (why not?) but the second half is just stupid. You are your previous experiences. So...Like barbieman said, pretty much.

Nothing particularly sensational or unheared of but pretty cool and nice stuff about life
pretty interesting that allthough it was written 2000 years ago many of his thoughts fit nicley in todays situaton of a human being
