Money is just a means to an end though, eh? Spending your time doing things you value, with people you value...those seem like more basic goals [and have more inherent value than the acquisition of $$$.]
But yes, money is a pretty useful resource, and as you say the window of profitability of poker continues to close. It's the *only* reason I've played as much as I have over the past few years.

I'd be happy to discuss the ethical implications of buying in for 20BB instead of 100BB, but if some guy I've never spoken to before randomly pops into my blog just to call me a faggot I'm guessing he's not looking for a discussion, nor is he particularly open to widening his conception of acceptable behavior in the context of a game.

correct me if i'm wrong, but as a pro sser who clearly makes a lot, do you see every session as almost printing money? Is it like "well i have 2 hours of downtime, i'll just sit down and make like ~800 on avg"? I ask because the way I view my sessions is that each session is a pretty big gamble and there's an easy chance for me to lose a lot and ruin my day, or even if i win it'd be a bit stressful what with the effort/mental exercising involved. I was envisioning top ssers as people who just like log on, make quick mental decisions and slowly watch the br increase.
