To wake up everyday at 10am during january, then re evaluate.

aka you'll wake up late until jan 15th continually saying "tommorrow" then youll wake up early for a week then back to late agian?

I know, going to wake up at 10 and re eval after maybe tweak it to be earlier, most important thing is getting to bed at a regular time. I've always had trouble getting sleep at night, since I was a kid, plus I'm more of an owl. Figure if I can't get myself to do this I should look into reasons other than desire/discipline as to why I don't get to bed regularly, probably try a lifestyle change or sleeping pills or something

I'd recommend against artificial means to regulate such an important part of your life. If you really commit to getting up / going to bed at a certain time, reminding yourself how important it is for your overall well-being, you'll likely find that your body will get used to the new schedule after a few weeks and will WANT to go to bed and wake up at those times...

Other basic tips - avoid eating a few hours before sleeping, don't play poker/games a few hours before sleeping, try to get a few hours of sunlight every day, exercise is your friend.

Good luck, I struggle with this as well.

this is all bullshit, just have shit to do the next day at a certain time that you want to be well rested for, and are committed to.
