Feels bad to be like -10 bi on a short period of time. Of course there's always worse. But you feel it good when it happens to you and it sucks. I really hope it won't happen to you cauz it hurts. It just hurts.

But on the other hand it feels great when you finally managed to recover most of it back. Right ? Well that's exactly what happened to me on the same specific day.

But the human nature is never satisfied to what he's getting. And that's exactly what i'm feeling right now. I'm still playing the nl5 and i'm overall breakeven. I'm feeling like a super newb when i see that most of LP members are already on the upper limits.
Everyone is saying nl50 and below is super easy, which may not necessarily be wrong, but there are some period where you simply can't win against a fish because he's always getting the good cards and always folding when you have a good hand.
It's threads like exalted that make me glad that i'm not alone and i try to get better and especially better than the others regs in order to not be afraid of them everytime i've to play a pot against them.

But hey, i must say it feels good overall, i'm not trying to bitch, i just wanted to post a little whine and then pass it out

Here's graphs from the last 2 days. Played 16 hours total.

I know, pretty wild right ? I definitely need to play more safely on very marginal situations.

Hope you have been fun reading it though.

Oh and Happy New Year !

It seems that you are just waiting for cards to fall and playing pretty passively. Which shows in your redline which is nosediving hard. I'm sure you are going through some rough times to a certain degree, pardon my ignorance if I had misunderstood, but you do make it sound like there's no room for improvement, as if you've hit a wall and that there's nothing more you can do to make the situation any better. That you are playing as optimally as possible and that you are just running rough. I'm not sure if that's a good attitude to have.

Don't be anxious. Micros suck because.. well.. it's micros. You put in numerous hours and a lot of the times, you feel like you don't get anywhere. As Exalted had mentioned, I strongly recommend asking real questions, be honest and ask others what spots troubles you and such.

If the fish keeps shoving into you with the nuts, and you know he is not capable of doing it with anything weaker, why do you keep getting your money in behind?

One of the best pieces of poker advice I have received is: While you are running bad, don't chalk it completely up to you running bad, or the villain running hot. You have to look for leaks to ensure you are not making any dumb plays, or you will continue to call your leaks variance and never improve

No, you're exactly right. It's just that i'm alone so it's kinda hard to look for improvement because i've to look at my leaks myself. I do have a friend in order to keep the motivation on but that's all we can do right now. We aren't skilled enough to spot every leak yet. Probably later when we'll hit nl25 i guess

As for my red line, well... Let me show you this
+ Show Spoiler +

This wasn't a good idea either. So i'm trying to play more passively for that reason because it trains me to fold more no matter how good or bad my hand is

As for improvement, well in micros, you just have to valuebet your hands as fuck and nothing more. It's hard because you learn really nothing like when to fold to light 3bet or 4bet etc because it never happens in micros like you said. When they do it they almost always have a good hand (except maybe some short not-automatic-reload stacks that goes allin with A5o+ at best). So that's why i'm saying i'm not really improving when playing this limit.

Hope It'll be better though on upper limits. Time will tell i guess
