*finally going into business soon(hold one time)
*using the fail website and convert it to webvertise, showcase and hopefully process some payments within the coutnry thru paypal
*going to learn a martial art called filipino kali, a.k.a arnis
*playing poker but just going to try to limit playing time to 1 to 2 hour daily

started going to my first class last night. pretty interesting martial art this filipino Kali, it has southeast asian variations like pentak and some krav maga, i wonder why no one from this discipline ever competed in MMA, seems like fucking awesome incorporated with boxing, jujitsu. its basically what jason bourne and steven segal use lolz

it's basically not a stick based fighting style but weapon-based, which is quite unique since you are always taught to get a weapon first before using fists and usually pure standup is considered as a last resort in cqb.however it is by no means pretty as how it is shown in videos and movies, but a good practioner can kick anyone's ass in streetfights or situations. So we start with sticks and eventually end up using our bare hands and even have grapples called "dumog" which is sort of a similar style to greco-roman but always has emphasis on strikes. if i go to prison someday knife fighting will be no problem for me lol. just look at these fine filipino gentlemen

These techniques are useless in a real fight. They are too intricate and require too much focus to successful pull off. In the heat of the moment with adrenaline coarsing through your veins you arent going to be able to perfectly joint lock someones hand and throw them around by their arm and all that shit. Plus they arent going to just stand there frozen in time while you manipulate their body. Learn something simple and powerful, something that comes natural, like instict. Like Muay Thai. Your natural instinct in a fight is to ball your fist and throw punches and kicks. Elbows and knees can easily be taught to become second nature, and they work from virtually any angle requiring zero precision. Just drop bombs on your assailant until it's over. A decent thai kick to the thigh/knee is enough to make most people keel over. If they get in close a good elbow to the face will rattle anyone. The clench is wonderfully easy to execute and you will feel the natural urge to strike with your knees, which will knock the wind out of most anyone who isnt supremely fit to begin with. In a real fight you cant be like "ok so heres what i gotta do, gotta grab that elbow, then rotate to the right, pull him forward, then jerk him back and twist to the left" etc etc etc. You have about .01 seconds to accomplish all of that, and thats assuming everything goes perfectly. One flaw in your execution, one unexpected move from your opponent and you're lost. But punching and kicking never gets confusing, you just need to train your body to do it more efficiently then two bar scrubs in a fight.

bye now
