Unfortunately, the slaughter of animals to feed the masses around the world will go on forever.
If people had to kill animals on their own to feed themselves, there would be a lot more vegetarians in the world, as well as healthier people.
I don't mind killing for personal consumption.

i used to live on a orchard where we had free range chickens, and sheep we would often kill for dinner(as well as organic vegetables that were grown). Anyhow i have no idea why this would make people more vegetarian, unless they are too lazy to gut animals. I do believe however that it would make people a lot more healthy and happier, growing your own vegetables and killing your own livestock is a rewarding experience.
funny 2nd video

Been thinking about turning semi vegetarian for a while (I can't give up fish, I love sushi too damn much). Mostly because it feels a bit disturbing to eat such filthy disease ridden shit (even though I know that cooking gets rid of most of it) rather than feeling bad for slaughtered animals.
I never had a particular liking for meat anyways.. I honestly prefer tofu over steak.

I chose to stop eating meat from food industry, I just take meat from good butcher shop. I eat less, and spend same amount of money. Healthier, tastier and better for environment.
sorry for shitty english.

By butcher shop, I refer to a butcher who buys himself cows and thus makes his meat, or I even buy it directly from the farmer. There is no mass production, no big process.

yeah it's just sad but most meats are inspected by the state for health and sanitation approval and the supply comes from a few big sources, the meat industry is a bigger monopoly than you think, unless your butcher buys from a farm exclusively, im sorry but you're eating the same dirty depressing meat as us lol
watch food inc, its set in the U.S. but i doubt it's any different in other countries

I know what is this industry, and there is such one here in France, but this is quite easy to find some meats which don't go through all this process. Sanitation rules are way less strict here in France too.
It's pretty easy to buy low processed products.
