lol. As someone from the GTA, it makes me really sad to hear this story... I really thought we didn't have these type of idiots in Canada.

people watch the news for entertainment, they dont give a shit about learning anything, but still like to gabble and gossip like they have some authority. i havent watched the news in a year, and though i like to read "political" threads from time to time, i steer well clear of sticking my nose in. either educate yourself, or shut the fuck up, thats kinda the way i feel. this shit shouldnt be treated half-heartedly; too many people will watch a 40 min documentary and hang on every word, without realising there are another five similar documentaries that dispute that one they were so swayed by after having the uncommon and glancing fortitude to sit through it

I work at a tourist attraction in Chicago over summer, and there's an outrageous amount of retarded questions.

"What ocean is that?" ...Lake Michigan.
"Is the water always that blue?" ...yeah usually LOL
"Where's the Sears Tower?" ...You're in Chicago and you can't see it?
