Last week I was feeling pretty shitty after losing 1.5k taking a 2/4 shot. Wasn't the worst thing in the world cause I was already up 2k for the month and wanted to be adventurous but it still hurt a lot.
But today was a good day 
Today's play consisted of 3 sessions of shallow PLO, mostly at 1/2 and a few hundred hands of 2/4 while helping administer the USC/UCI SC2 Open LAN. Pretty sick accomplishment for me considering I don't play long sessions anymore and generally don't play more than a few hundred hands a day. I've been extremely conscious of table selection and don't play unless I get a great tables with a great seats.

very surprised you haven't had multi +-1-4k days while playing 1-2.... esp if you doing 1/2 PLO wtf.
And you're mixing in some 2/4. it's a miracle that your swings have been so low. |

I play mostly shallow PLO now and am a table selecting nazi. I also play what I consider a low variance style. The games I play in are just so good that I can give up a lot of marginal edges and be happy with it |
