Now that it is a new day I had time to run more tests, safe mode, get feedback and try new file types it turns out this is a big FALSE positive. I waited a few weeks since the first file hoping to avoid a false positive and see if anyone else ran into problems but now that it all went down more last night it needed to be brought up. Thankfully it appears malwarebytes is worried about a rogue version of spybot - search and destroy, although I have no idea why it would think a .mp4 file would represent a rogue file. I guess it is basing it entirely off the modified name.

This is god fucking damn ridiculous. I have not had any malware on my clean desktop since purchase 2 years ago, fresh everything and now I have 3 rogue malware from a paid for god damn poker site.
So fucking tilting.
Malwarebytes' Anti Malware v. 1.50.1.1100 was used (most up to date)

im sure you've sent an email, right?
those files should be checked and rechecked before going up, im quite sure they don't check any of the files as they probably didn't really consider the possibility that video files might get infected
tbh i didnt know its possible, but im a computer noob |

it wouldn't be very hard and it is kind of ez to imbed stuff into audio files parts and so on, but nowadays unless they are a good self programmer the hook or malware or virus will be dedicated pretty quickly by good security stuff.
I am just extra sensitive when it comes to poker and my poker comp since I think it's very important to take it seriously since people like us are big targets. If you could just get 1 infected file into a poker community you have the chance to do a lot of real damage. |

Like remember when LP got hacked last year? Whoever hacked it really dropped the ball because they could have pretty easily injected a ton of shit into the site and within a few hours could have accomplished a lot where it appears all they got was crappy emails? (if that) and they may or may not try to hack later. |
