So, I applied for work with Greenpeace and today I had a group interview with them.
I walked in and waiting in reception was a smokin hot Vietnamese chick also waiting for the interview. So my mind drifted off about how we would go fund raising together and have wild sex in mother natures green grasses, then get married.
I just heard back and Ive got the job and am going in tomorrow for training.
I will be fund raising for Greenpeace. Its out and about, which means ill get decent exercise and wont become an all-out fat ass like when i worked in an office, and should have options to move around the country and move into other sectors.
Will get to meet lots of people, the pay is really good, hours are alright and its for a good cause. There are many many asian chicks out there who are willing to donate. Im sure they love a guy whos in touch with environmental issues.
Maybe in a year youll see me swinging off the side of a Japanese whaling boat.

Nice, it is awfully stupid to bite the hand that feeds. You wouldn't happen to know a cure for Asian girl fetishism, it seems like you know the problem? |

Please be smart green warrior, and don't tell people CO2 causes greenhouse effect ok? If you ever mention CO2, tell them that it is only in 16% responsible (if at all) for greenhouse effect, and that the human production of CO2 in world is just a tiny tiny bit of of the earth produtcion of CO2, and the main source of greenhouse effect is the water vapor. And that without greenhouse effect there would be no life on earth. And at all that averages tempretures on earth are mostly depandable of Sun activity, which heats oceans, and it takes hundreds of years to increase their average tempreatur by one degree, and if at all earth is getting warmer we(humans) have barely any influence on that.
And if they tell that they have graphs which shows how the average tempreature increases over few hundreds of years, ask them how did they measure the average tempreature in the world 500,400, 300 years ago, hm? |

Ah! Damn one more fucking thing!
Since earth is composed of in about 75% of water, and the solubility of CO2 in water decreases with the increased tempreature of water, the increased level of CO2 in air is the Result of oceans getting warmer. So once again this effect was caused hundreds years ago by sun, and we have nothing to do with that. If it gets warmer, the CO2 solubility in oceans decreases, and there is more CO2 in the air, big deal. |

You also forgot that the exact same thing has happened thousands of times before in earths history if you look at ice cores and sediment samples. |

The evidence for human-caused global warming is too overwhelming. If you deny it at this point, you sound like the crackpots claiming the earth is 3000 years old
If you want to be a sceptic, there is a better way. Point out that the effects of global warming are small and far in the future. There is no telling what the world will look like then. Point out investing very large amounts of resources now for a questionable, hard-to-quantify gain far in the future does not seem sensible.
In any case, global warming is not the disaster the media portrays it as. But it's real. |

Who caused the other periods of global warming before we humans got here then? |

I would disagree. It's is very reasonable for those who get these moneys. Have you heard of Fukushima (dunno if spelling is rigth, but know what I'm talkin about)? German chancellor Merkel, "turned off" 7 nuclear power plants. So how to produce energy she cut out? Convencional coal power plants, and that means CO2 emissions AND more money. (Not everyone on this forum are from EU, so I'll remind you that all power plants in EU that emiss CO2 are obliged to buy permissions(so called certificates) for emissing CO2 and pay for every tone of emissed CO2.
I don't know who directly stands behind this hole CO2 case, but I would shoot him with no doubt if I had opportunity to do it without getting cought. |
