I havent been blogging at over the last few months. Mainly because I havent been playing a lot of poker because I have been busy with school and other real life things lol. But now that I just about done school I have a lot more time to put towards poker after this month.

I switched to iPoker a while back because of a sick rakeback deal that I got with them. It works out to be about 55% RB which is incredible for me considering I only play 20nl - 100nl fullring. Its a nice bit of motivation to put in large volume knowing that the payback will be huge. The software is a bit tilting when multi tabling since it lags my computer a bit but it is bearable lol.

Im digging through my database looking for hands that gave me trouble. Ive found one so far but will be adding more. Really appreciate the help and feedback guys. (Hands are fullring)

Raising the flop with just queen high when you presumably have little to no fold equity (Given the fact he bet full pot into 2 people likely shows he has a hand he's not folding) seems a little spewy to me.
I'd just call the flop and continue on the turn on any Q, J or spade, otherwise fold turn unless he were to bet like half pot or less, and if he did bet that then my plan would again be to continue on Q,J, spade rivers and fold otherwise

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope

As ludicrous as it may sound, flat out folding the flop is probably not terribly different EV wise to calling the flop to be frank. Raising the flop is by far the worst option though, you're just committing yourself to put in far too much money with the worst of it, or even putting in a lot of money just to fold to later action when your fold equity was minute on the flop, which is what happened in this case, whereas you could've just called the flop instead of raising and folded on this turn and have saved yourself a lot in terms of big blinds
