yeah i saw this on the news and my first response was "so what?" not even relevant anymore, nothing changes at all. maybe 5+ years ago it was mainstream news worthy.

It's definitely relevant. Aside from scooping the next election for doing what Bush couldnt, the impact of this is that Obama said "why the fuck are we in Iraq? We need to be in Afghanistan". So then he sends troops to Afghanistan, pwns Osama in 3 years, and can basically say "see? listen to me and we get shit done..... Next!"

Obama sent troops to Afghanistan to help strengthen usa's stand in the middle east and to hopefully within two years withdrawal all troops from Afghanistan. Finding osama bind laden was never in Obama's agenda.
