Thor was just ok, sadly it could have been soooo much better. Too much focus on Thor when there's just loads of interesting characters in Norse Mythology/Thor comics. Still enough to keep you interested and feel you just didn't waste time and money on a movie. Heimdall was the shit man, practically upstaged Thor the whole movie with just 9 minutes of screen appearance - that's how cool that guy was. To compare :
Ok for those of you who haven't watched these three films you are seriously missing out! It's gritty realism is nothing I've ever seen in a movie and the actors are just so fucking honest and true it makes you believe that the whole thing is a documentary. Watch "City of GOd" first then tropa 1 and 2 to make the whole experience unique, I did not watch it in that order and it seemed to ruin city of god a bit for me. Have newfound respect for brazilian ass and movie makers now. I'm telling you both will make you jizz lol

Thor was a huge dbag and womanizer in asgard which was quite accurate, I just felt that the "love story" schtick was just grossly unecessary since Thor defending asgard from the frost giants would've been more braveheart than last of the mohicans really. Also why the hell couldn't they have gotten a cheaper, hotter starlet for thors love interest - ive outgrown my lolita and princess amidala fetish and Natlie portman doesnt have the face nor the body to be fappable material. lol
Love interests also serve stories well when the concerned parties are the oppressed, e.g. wife,gf getting raped/killed , girl belongs to the oppressing side, or simply see love blossom in the midst of all the suffering, which was not the case here at all since Thor were pretty much the huge bastards who wiped out the frost giants who looked undermatched against Odins army and technology.

If you don't mind romance comedies, I would suggest you also watch the two i mentioned above, they were both really well made and funny.
tropa series and city of god was the absolute nuts. so good you'll want to watch it at least 3 times.
