= +2.4k month. Didn't feel like playing at all after quitting SNE, so I didn't put in any hours, and when I did I ran as bad as its possible to run within 1k sngs. Keep in mind the field is 100 times softer than before (black friday), and I broke even pretty much. wtf. Won @ live tho woot!
I'm pumped for SCOOP tho, I'm doing a kind of stake that is very common in Brazil, where ppl buy pieces, and get 60% of the profit. So I sell all action (or most) and keep 40% (if dont profit return all $ scores to stakers). not really
you get 100% up to the initial stake amount (20k) and 60% of profits
so in case I break even, you get 100% of every dollar you put in
if I profit 20k (cash 40k), you get 80% of every dollar you put in (100% of first 20k and then 60% of profits)
so the value of each piece starts at 100% and decreases in porcentage but increases in pure value with the increase of money cashed

in comparison with direct % stakes this decreases the profit of the staker just like the "1.2:1" system, just in a way that varies with the higher profit. given an +EV player, it is a +EV stake like you would expect it to be just in a "lower ROI for the staker" manner |

I had arguments with people doing this in the past because I didn't really think it was fair for the player to just freeroll, but they counter it by saying that the staker is making money in the long run (given the player is +EV), so both sides are happy
so I thought, if thats the case, then I'll do it too and freeroll this biatch  |

why would annyone be mad enough to stake you in this way over such a small sample in high variance mtts? You get a risk free shot at mtts so obviously its good for you but i fail to see the benefit for anyone staking you. Surely the traditional way of 5% of buy in for 5% of returns would be more appropriate in MTTs. |
