*Chicago Overcoat - Old italian lieutenant pissed off missing the "glory days" takes a job to hit 3 witnesses handed by the boss about to be tried, he pisses everyone off in the process and goes on apeshit tilt and kills everyone lol, watchable and fun.
*True legend - Visually very appealing, story is standard, kinda updated look, but towards the end there's like a stupid twist which is totally unrelated to the plot but what can you expect. I dunno what to say Still no regrets watching it, but honestly once the "revenge" scene is over, please turn it off to avoid watching the unecessary "bloodsport arena" twist in the end, its so grossly filler material it's not even funny.Watch from beginning to 3/4 of the movie, then goes from awesome movie to shit van damme levels in the last 20mins so avoid the part after the final confrontation between hero and villain.
*13 assassins - Former Shogun samurai gets hired by shogunate advisor to assassinate despotic and sadistic successor of the shogun, he rounds up 13 of the best samurais he can get to do the ambush in a small town against 200 soldiers who protect the convoy. Starts off really slow for about an hour and 15mins, then from thereon its 45 minutes of swordfighting. Cant really say I loved or hated it, just ok to burn 2 hours with.
* Disappointing Priest - stupid movie wrapped in eye candy and overused movie plots and characters, priest is the same actor and character in Angels and Demons (warrior zealot albino monk). Vampires and storyline from blade,underworld,daybreak - dont waste your time watching this in 3d because as dumb as it sounds, there are absolutely no 3d scenes in this movie - so you and your GF will just look like idiots wearing those glasses because watching it without them will make you vomit.

*The Shield seasons 1 to 7- Don't be gay and watch this already if you haven't yet. This is one of those shows you should have watched if you own a television, its intense as fuck and itll keep you hooked till you finish the seventh season.

I just finished watching Casino Jack, i thought it was alright.
a couple of others ive watched
Moon - i was advised not to watch the trailer on this as it spoils it, but its a really cool film. Kevin Spacey voices the robot. Awesome visuals and soundtrack. Definitely a cool movie
Lemmy - a movie-documentary about the frontman of Motorhead. Its really interesting, full of great stories and anecdotes about rock n roll and people in it. Some of the stories are straight up hilarious, and you get a decent insight into Lemmy and his lifestyle.
Rewatched "The Shield " season 1 to 7 again and god that thing is what great television is all about, nothing still comes close to it.
Is moon that one where some guy is on a moonbase? I think I was not able to watch that before, I'll check out Lemmy as well.
Threads was so depressing to watch, Dogmeat keeps telling me to watch it then when i finally do im like FFFFUUUUU Petr lol
Casino Jack was alrightish I agree, it's hard to find recent gems nowadays, seems like every good actor out there is cashing in on their name and not being picky as to what material they take, CUba gooding, val kilmer, de niro, these guys seem so broke that they allow themselves to star in these fucking garbage films its unbelievable.

yeh Spaceys performance in Casino Jack was disappointing, didnt help that i watched American Beauty like 2 days before - cant believe that came out over 10 years ago
yeh there is a mining station on the Moon. I thought it was really good, I dont normally watch sci-fi/thriller types but this one captivated me from start to finish.
Louie is amazing, check out his stand up as well. Good stuff.

saw the first few episodes of the sheild, reallly liked it, but the quality was crap, would continue watching if i could find a dvd version or something

Yeah just picked this up after seeing an LPer recommend it before and so far its been hilarious. up there with seinfeld, chappelle show, the office and flight of the conchords

You can still enjoy it regardless. I always watched it on local cable but didnt really care for it at first so I really didnt watch every episode or follow the storyline because it always had that dirty, grainy look to it, then I bought this pirated box set one day and watched it all in 2 to 3 days and was blown away. You will get so deep into the characters that their real life personas disappear even after years of watching it. It's the best fictional portrayal of real cops in the gray, not too realistic that it turns you off and bores you with watching how real life thugs live and act , fictional enough to keep you hooked and takes you along in the deepest darkest places but still gives enough room for you to be entertained for hours and hours.

True legend is also very good! But the weird thing is, the final 15mins is just fucked up bad, like suddenly the writers died then some retard took over and needed filler scenes to complete a 2 hour movie - anyway you will find out why when you watch it. The first of the movie 75% is really good though
