I honestly do believe in some sort of quantum theory of believing in something makes it more likely to happen. I don't know if I would extrapolate that all the way to winning flips in poker, though. Or, maybe the quantum theory doesn't work like that, more like playing a winning game if you want to idk lol just thought this shit was interesting.
I crossed over this video when I was looking at stuff totally non poker related and when they started talking about number generators I was like lolpoker

There is a huge experiment of people willing certain results in random number generators. It's called a casino. And as far as I'm aware everything is bang on expectation. The very first premise he makes is wrong and must include some epicly bad meta-analysis.
Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

What? You don't like to think upon things that are unexplainable/can't be understood for fun every once in a while? You like to think the world is perfectly logical and potentially explainable?
I posted this stuff for fun. But I hope you get off on coming to my blog and calling me an idiot.

"Séance-room and other large-scale psychokinetic phenomena have fascinated humankind for decades. Experimental research has reduced these phenomena to attempts to influence (a) the fall of dice and, later, (b) the output of random number generators (RNGs). The meta-analysis combined 380 studies that assessed whether RNG output correlated with human intention and found a significant but very small overall effect size. The study effect sizes were strongly and inversely related to sample size and were extremely heterogeneous. A Monte Carlo simulation revealed that the small effect size, the relation between sample size and effect size, and the extreme effect size heterogeneity found could in principle be a result of publication bias." http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16822162
Sooo of all the published studies saying there is some effect it's an incredibly small barely significant amount, and then only the studies which show there is an effect are published so there is likely a biased in the articles surveyed. It's a big meh.
But would be awesome.

Compelling argument. The native Americans have indeed practised the art of channeling their spirits and shit for decades, so maybe it does defeat the thousands souls of degen gamblers and dying old men and women.

Oh of course, it is you the one lacking intellectual curiosity not me, the universe is immense and we understand very little of it, there are more questions than answers, however our will bending the laws of physics, unicorns and gods are not those mysteries, they are just very stupid things not based on evidence nor logic.
And yes, i believe everything is logical and potentially explainable, i doubt manking will live long enough to untangle all the universe's mysteries tho.
