OP seems just as socially awkward as the people he is describing. You thought someone was trolling you because they mentioned Poker? And that they would go as far as much as to ...not like etc. to look at your Facebook interests to troll you on the internets? Bad read man, bad read. Entire blog posts seems like a young teenage girl obsessing over an experience with a guy and needlessly overanalyzing every detail.

Cliff notes on the OP: He recently went to an Anime convention for cosplaying. Suprisingly, met a fellow poker player who actually met up with him at a casino. They both suck but at least they can band together and stand the test of variance together!

Yeh, I thought it was strange to see a fellow poker player whom I had contacted through an anonymous imageboard. I like how ignorant you are though. Sure, I may suck right now, and I certainly play much lower limits than you. But you know what? Not once have I ever complained about variance in any of my blogs. Looks like you've done your part in doing so like a chump. I've only played poker for about ~2 years at best, so we'll see where each other is at in a few years.

that has nothing on how weird this following encounter was.

so about five years ago i went off to uni in a new city and one of my flat mate was also from my home town. Okay so thats just coincidence, but explain this several years after moving out of the flat (having not seen him having not seen him that entire time) i bump into him again back in our home town.

That is the weakest ending story ever...
