That's right I've got a new Ferrari sitting in my driveway right now. Be jealous, be real jealous. YEA RIGHT! Once again I've captured your attention using a youtube-esque headline to suck readers in. So now you're stuck reading this boring blog. I'll try to make it as interesting as I can... but I have to warn you guys that it's not "Ferrari" exciting.
Instead this blog is going to be "BMW" exciting. There's a new BMW sitting in my driveway. I picked it up about 2 or 3 months ago, but I haven't got a chance to write a blog about it. It's really not that exciting, your basic entry level BMW. However for me it's a pretty fun car to drive considering my last car was a soccer mom mobile. I went out the other day and took some pictures of it, so it was fresh out of the car wash at the time (hence why there is water all over it). Take a look at some of the pictures:
As you can see from the pictures, it’s nothing fancy at all. Car came with pretty nice stock rims which is a nice plus.
Final picture of the interior coming up:
As you can see the interior is really nothing special. It has a leather interior throughout with a small entertainment console in the middle. There is an iPod console in the flip up box between the two front seats which can be controlled through the entertainment console and the steering wheel. Other cool perks are auto-rain-sensing wipers and auto headlights (you can tell how low tech my last car was based on these comments).
I’m planning on writing an in depth review of the car at some point, but I’ve been relatively lazy as of late.
I’ve also been considering switching from a Blackberry to an iPhone lately. I don’t know whether I should give it a shot or not. Anyone have any feedback to contribute to help me make my decision? This is the phone I currently have (Blackberry 9700):
It’s served me well as of lately but I’m just debating whether an iPhone is more useful to me. I really like the personal hotspot capabilities of the iPhone, but I’m afraid I’ll lose track of my data usage (running an iPad off the wifi hotspot) and get absolutely screwed by my mobile company on data overages.
For those of you guys who haven’t heard the iPhone 5 is supposed to drop in September which is pretty exciting. These are still rumours however, so it’s all educated speculation (backed by reputable sources). The iPhone 4 already seems like such a complete phone, the only improvements I can see being made are improved screen resolution, higher megapixel camera, and faster processor. These all seem relatively unnecessary for the type of usage I would be subjecting the phone to though.

i would go for Samsung Galaxy II if you wanna buy a mobile right now, owns iphone 4 by far.

In case u are intersted i write a little bit about the Iphone4 ( I am semi drunk though comming home from a party at 5am)
Well i guess Iphone4 probably has the worst value/money ratiou can get nowadays.
I guess it may be a bit cheaper in Canada but in Germany f.e a new Iphone4 16GB still costs ~ 520€ ( 740 USD$)
Cons of the Iphone4
1.) Cam is kinda bad ( i know at least 14 people ( MMA training partners and close friends) having an Iphone 4 and many of their pics dont look better than pics from a 2 year old 200€ mobile ...)
When i showed them pics from my Wave8500 many of them didnt believe me that this were actually photos taken by the Wave and thought i d want to trick them ... ( No joke this really happend several times and actually says a lot about the Iphone4 cam) Video quality is okayish but Wave8500, GalaxyS , GalaxyS2 and HTC Sensation have better video quality.
2.) Battery life is bad -> expect 10h-14h average usage(including some mobile internet time) till u are at 10% battery .... ALL Iphone4 users i know ( And i know many) have to reload their Iphone4 every night.
3.) Glass kinda breaks too easy when falling on display I know this may seem like a strange point but 2 of my friends managed to completely shatter their Iphone4 with a simple fall. landing on display from just ~ 100cm height. I try to find the pics that i have somwhere on my pc .... did not look too pretty and i dont expect a 520€ mobile display to completely shatter when having a simple unlucky fall from medium height. Display was like broken into 100 peaces from a simple fall on display from ~1m
4.) U need to work with Itunes ( Which for some apple fans is a + more so than a -- )
5.) Price is a joke ( at least in europe)
In case these cons dont scare u

Pros
1.) Looks kinda solid
2.) Very good for internet usage ( Friends of mine did use the Hotspot funktion to connect a Macbook to the internet while being in our MMA Gym several times so far and always worked great)
E-mail and office stuff also works good for the most part
3.) It does most stuff other smartphones do nicely without any problems , too
Well the Iphone4 is a solid mobile phone
nothing special though except for a ridiculous price
Galaxy S = 299€ and is equally good
Galaxy S2 and HTC Sensation are much better and cheaper ~ 480€ |

Thanks for all the comments! @Balzamon @PplusAD I ended up getting an iPhone 4 last night. I have heard really good things about the Galaxy and I think it's a really sweet phone given the limited experience I have with it.
@PplusAD any recommendations for apps I should install etc? |

It's a 323i, a car that they make for Canada and Europe.
