I play 1/2 FR, 2/4 soon, but I have no tournament experience. Do you guys think it's +EV for me to start playing in the Sunday millions?
I've only played in a few tournaments in the past year, I often get impatient when playing them, and I usually regret wasting my time when busting but I imagine I'll improve in those areas as I play more

also I just recently started to playing some HU on the side, not sure if it's a good idea to play FR, HU and tournaments now. although it would only be the Sunday million :/ |

Yes, as a winning 1/2 reg you are hugely profitable in the million. Tournament poker isn't some mystery, just use the poker thinking and knowledge you have and the only things you might get a few % wrong is the shoving ranges short, but that will be easily made up for by a field full of fish making worse mistakes. |

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated. | |

what oly said.
my advice, either go in playing very tight or go in trying to get a ton of chips.
playing very tight you will chip up, don't abuse on the button til antes kick in, in general.
playing for all the chips early can give you a ton of chips, and you can avoid marginal spots later where you would most likely have to gamble
these are the best strategies for the mil imo

if you want to punt anytime it gets boring or doesn't go your way don't play it. if it tilts you and causes you to punt in cash games and/or not put in volume in the juiced up sunday games don't play it. both of these things are leaks though and you should work on that and play it. more or less just treat it as any other full ring table until you get deep and go from there. if you bust ups, profitable lottery tickets in the trash. if you go deep nice job man but you are probably gonna bust soon and make no money. you should still play it. |

lol dood if you're really that nervous about tourny poker just look up some charts on 10 bb shoving ranges in various positions with and without antes.
and just play a tight ABC game and win a shitton of flips and you'll get a deep run in no time. |

xD i played it for the first time last sunday, it's alot softer than I thought! I always hear people saying how much of a giant luck sack you have to be to cash big in donkaments, so I was unsure whether I should play it or not..
