Just stumbled upon this documentary on the subject:

It shows basically everything that can be said and summarizes it pretty well even in the first 15 minutes (part 1).
It features more than 10 doctors, gives examples, shows diagrams, compares it other drugs and substances and even goes to further lengths by showing the molecular process going on under the influence of marijuana.

After listening to part 1, I understand that endocannabinnoid receptors might play a role in natural tumor control (which is quite obscure to me) and that THC fits these receptors.

Their proof being that if you block these receptors, you get more cancer (how much more?). That doesn't necessarily mean that it is good to over excite them.

It's like dopamine: if you don't have enough you have parkinson, if you have too much, schizophrenia. Balance is key.

Also, you don't need THC to activate endocannabinnoid receptors. THC is not the natural neurotransmitter for these receptors, endocannabinoids are.

Although I am highly skeptical, the video is quite well done, I will listen to parts 2 and 3 when I have time to see if they have explanations that would satisfy me.

While weed certainly isn't as malevolent as it's often made out to be, makes promoting a series of videos titled 'Proof weed cures cancer' feels like you started with a conclusion (weed is good!) and are trying to find arguments for it, rather than starting with the evidence and forming a conclusion from it.
