It is an obvious case where you have to go to your Grandmother and say, Who is worth more to you, You(her grandson) or a lawyer+scam company. Tell her she has to choose you and sell out all her shit and stop MLM forever, or lose her grandson. No money, illusion or profit is worth losing family, if she picks the lawyer/scam, she prolly needs to see a doctor/psychiatrist because she has got some sort of problem

I don't mean to be an asshole but isn't kind of her own fault? I mean, unless she is suffering a pretty bad case of Alzheimer or whatever, it should be possible for her to use her own cognitive abilities and make a weighted decision on what's right and what's not...

Anyways, I'll try and bring some constructive along as well... Can't you just be brutally honest to her and try to make sure she won't make those mistakes again? Maybe it would help if you get your mom/dad (whoever is her kid) or any possible uncles/aunts along to get your point across... They can't like the foresight of your grandma possible going bankrupt because she is 'investing' her money in phoney companies...

my grandma has dementia and was withdrawing around 500$ per day from the bank and no one in the family knew what she was doing with it...in the space of 2 years she spent all her savings. my mum found out and became power of attorney over all her assets. you should look into this. not sure what the rules are in the US but in ausstralia it can happen

If you care AT ALL about her you should get your family (or you) to file a court order for power of attorney so you can get control of her finances so she cannot do stuff like this.

FWIW I mentioned the jist of your situation to a family member who was a district judge of ND for 20+ years and lawyer for like 15 or something before that (now retired), and his suggestions are 1) contact the consumer fraud division of your state's attorney general office, and 2) contact the securities commissioner.

Agreed, time to roll in the big guns, first priority is to get her money back, then after that find a way to stop her spending it in such ways.
