Sure it must've happened to everyone who makes $$ from poker, the moment where you just go "oh I know what to do"

After using all my luck getting a really good job even though I dropped out of uni (Investment banking job with no degree, Be less than 0.1% of people in these jobs that don't have degrees) and being insanely busy I closed all my online accounts for a minimum of 6months so I work hard and don't get distracted.

3months later, I got bored and opened a pokerstars france account.
Deposited around 100 euro donking about stupidly, was down to 3euro. Enter a turbo MTT, ship 44 AI first hand vs KK. Spike a 4. Cash for 20euro, AA gets cracked later on for massive pot. But can't complain. So i take my 20euro to 9max turbo sit and go's -

(Euros not dollars) And I win 20 euros on battle of planets. + 30 euros rakeback (1st deposit bonus's as well)

Not too keen to move to the 3euro SnG's (variance with 30buyins when I 20 table is uncopable) i move to 2nl - 1k hands 1 euro winnings

Move upto NL5 -

God mode activated, 18.3bb/100 over 12k hands. Last 2k hands are NL10 (20bb/100)

Jump between NL5 and Nl10 is much much bigger than I expected, 3bet lights are so so so more common. The analogy of "it's micros they can have any 2 cards" is long long dead (Until zynga poker arrives!)

Again I have a horrible sinking red line, the result of 15-24 tabling. But a blue line that goes double the other way is worth it. Not too sure if you can have a + red line at these stakes, very hard to force people to lay down hands and thats why nut hunting is solid.

Bubbled a live donkament as well, KK v JQ on bubble. Guy UTG has 2BB, Fish UTG+1 has 40BB, I have 10BB in SB.

Fish limps, I shove KK. he snaps JQ (I GOTZ TWO PICTUREZ?!?!) and rivers the straight. Win that hand and I probably ship +150 euros minimum

Anyone playing UKIPT next year? My plan is to enter Manchester event. £600. Hopefully by smashing fish in france to pay for it :D

Well 3 betting light is not a problem at all for Nl10 since they dont know what they do and just watched a video where someone said u can 3 bet lighter ....
They neither have specific ranges that they 3 bet light nor have they follow up plans in case someone adjusts. Furthermore 95% of the guys who 3 bet light at Nl10 have not even any idea how to proceed on different flops once they get called pf

Its easily exploitable by raping the shit out of them on flops

Its just like :
" Hey i have watched a video and guy said 3 bet more often
So now i 3 bet like every 4th hand ..."

Indeed, but adjusting to the video watchers is a pain in the ass.

Another one is 4bb opens, why is this suddenly becoming the norm?!

I committed the ultimate sin today, ran bad at my Nl10 shot, so took a Nl25 shot :D

For me this moment is always right after and slightly before another episode of "wtf am I doing? Nothing is clicking..."

But in all seriousness, congrats with the job. I don't know if you are doing FR cash games or 6-max, but of course with these you aren't going to be able to mass mult-itable as effectively as you can with SnGs.

I'd say at nl10 and especially nl25 you want to seriously cut back on tables, focus more on the hands and small adjustments you need to work into your game

Hm , just a warning , because i have done this mistake over and over again.

Dont get excited about winning money !
Thats a very big mistake

Only thing u should ever get excited in poker is playing good.
It does not matter if u win or lose as long as u play good

Nl25 can be swingy at times
watch my Nl25 graph from March 2011 20 K hands smooth sailing , then suddenly 18BI Downswing within 5K hands !

I play nl10 and i'm pretty fucking good and would rape 99% of people i ever play with. so not everyone at nl10 is retarded
