I wanted to bet small enough to induce a spazz but big enough that when he flats I can bet shove without betting too big /with reasonably small bets.
Too small and it would be too obvious when I have to bomb turn to get stacks in. Too big and he won't do stuff like this |

I'd bet much bigger against a nit who flats mostly PPs preflop cause they call flop regardless of your size pretty much, but this guy is too loose/calls way too wide to 3b and has tons of air in his range. |
