Not a hugely interesting hand but I just felt that hands like this are leaking me money because I call without a plan to call it all the way down and it's just weak. Thoughts? I think I need to give up on hands sooner when oop to avoid checking into them and being bluffed/valuetowned. |

You summed it up pretty well - it looks like you're calling for the same of calling rather than thinking things through.
Preflop is fine, as is the check on the flop. On the turn though, what's the plan behind betting? What are you getting value from? Vs your standard UTG range, TT is a pretty bad hand on this flop. Unless your opponent is playing wild, you are only getting value from A9 and small PP's (and that's generous), which is not much. By betting, you're folding out a lot of worse hands, and are valuetowning yourself agains better hands.
Similarly, what's the plan behind calling his turn raise? Do you have any reason to think he's bluffing? If not, it looks like an easy fold. |

if you play the turn like this you absolutely must call this river.
reason being that A9 probably doesnt bet this big on the river, Kxdd should be flatting turn, so his most likely holdings are QJdd 87dd 76dd 65dd 54dd (any diamonds without a pair) 99 or a slowplayed AA. i wouldnt have called the turn raise, its a big spew, but once you do call you are pretty committed to calling a river bet getting over 2:1 |

turn lead is irrational, ur clicking buttons, he either has busted FD or flopped top 2+ (or turned 99, most likely hand IMO)
given he opened UTG, prob a lot less suited connector combos + he also almost always bets JTdd, QJdd, QTdd type hands |
