cant he have 77 or 88 ? call flop to let hero bluff/because he looks FOS, then raise turn when board gets coordinated/hits

there are no facts only interpretations

when we barrel turn we are repping 55/88/TT as our perceived value range. he shouldn't really be raising 88 on turn for value against such a narrow range.

77 is definitely a hand villain should either be checking back on flop or bet/folding to a raise.

its always a call imo, if he has J9 there it's mega cooler, but people do weird shit with sets

this reminds of a hand i had yesterday at 50NL deep tables for 250bb deep.
I was holding top set vs a reg that called preflop out of the SB.Turn hit and there was 1 single hand that does beat me now(45) making the double gutter str8.I bet, he check raises me big and i contemplate what to do.I ended up just calling he pushed river i called thinking he wont call 45 preflop oop too often and hold many undersets. He had 45.

The real mistake in my hand and your hand is a different one:

U gotta push the turn!
Turn rit on and hope to suckout vs him if he really holds the str8.
Because if he is holding underset, his chances are very low to suckout on you and he certainly calls the turn push with them.
