folding pre would be a mistake marshall, we could argue for squeezing but I believe calling is fine
and yeah that hero call is prob -EV

I don't like the c/raise vs this type of fishes when they could bet small/call w any mid pair/draw/top pair low kicker and improve or even be trapping you, the price is fair you can just call |

In defense of the call, its a great flop to bluff and villain holds a blocker, so value range here for some Wobblys is like 4 combos total (88 (3)+55 (1)). Not sure if Wobbly plays AK this way or range merges by c/ring KQ vs a utg opener cbet in a 3 way pot?
Holding Ah makes it much worse though, then worse again once the 9 binks. |
