i guess given stack depths. He can have 1010 and JJ maybe a lil more than usual. I still think its a call given you dont have the Ac, he should be turning all of those into bluffs on the river if board pairs. At least i think so. |

we had been playing for 1k hands and I NEVER caught him bluffing river except very small pots, he gave up a lot of pot on the river when he didnt get there, so I figured w/e
obviously against anyone not so freaking imbalanced I would snap |

given how deep stack sizes are im sure fayths read here at this point in the match is strong enough to where he isn't 2nd guessing himself, its much easier to play brainless poker click call and call it standard, then make a blogpost to explain to the poker community how bad you run |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |

HU is a lot more personal so you can make better reads and much less standard plays become correct. |

Has anyone considered the possibility that Gold thought Doyle would fold with a better hand? Gold doesn't get nearly enough credit. |

This was my thought too - I know you have a strong read on his river bluff tendencies, but what about pf tendencies? thinking he doesnt 3bet TT or JJ require a read. Even flatting K2s and J2s - how wide was his pf call range? we can't be scared of a single 22 combo. |
