I agree, flop isn't very good. Sure the 3bettor can have AA but he could very well have you crushed with big toppair+nfd type hands or even AAXXdd for that matter. It's pretty important as well that it's not the Ad on the flop.
Guy behind won't raise often at all but he could have a flush draw easily and most of those beat you quite handily so you're basically in a pretty bad spot with bad relative position as well. Bad equity/terrible reverse implied odds.

turn check call > front bet imo by betting you take away the chance of him bluffing although the way you played it worked out i guess in his mind you rep ace high flush and a lot of the ace high flushes would just raise flop although maybe not in this case as you guys are a little deep
i dont know about flop, but turn is a very very spot to lead.. I have plenty of straight draws that I would play this way and there is no way im simply going to let him check behind his made hands when I know he'll pay if i bet accordingly.
