who likes against tag on the passive side?
my perceived bluffing range should 100% bet the flop here, by doing this I rep a very credible showdown value and hardly ever air. I'm not rly folding out that many worse hands on the flop anyways and I don't really plan to double barrel this board against unkown passive tag so it's not like I'm losing out on barreling opportunity . Only thing I can think of is that my range is capped so against someone mental he can raise me and shove river in theory and theres fuckall I can do but thats not the case against passive regs.

If you are betting your air 100% of the time on the flop then nice money for villain if he is not folding alot(which he shouldn't). It's not very hard to play against wide button openers with high cb%.I would rather check something like 65 rather than qk on the flop. QK is too strong to check back,it has some nut equity + 2 overs to second pair and it's something i would add to my double/triple barrel range of hands along with strong aces +.Even if i get called by something like 10x or jj on flop and turn i can still make the winning hand on the river or make villain fold his underpair at some point. And just because this guy is a "passive tag" shouldn't be a reason for us not to double barrel here whatsoever.

100% check down all streets, a lot of inexperienced HU players have no idea how much value showdown value K high has especially on these boards. If he folds its because you have the best hand

MP2 41.14% 40.21% 0.93% KQo
MP3 58.86% 57.93% 0.93% 33+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J4s+, T6s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, A2o+, K5o+, Q7o+, J7o+, T7o+, 98o

thats a equity calculation vs top 50% of hands (which you will find a lot of players defend their BB with) (i included, AKo, AA, KK etc..) if you filter out hands which he is unlikley to have we end up having ~45-50 % equity for a checkdown

Just because we check flop with kq , doesnt mean villain will let us realize our equity. He is allowed to bet turn and river when checked to with his air .And the equity calculation with kq vs his calling range doesnt mean much if we cant get to showdown There is also the problem of letting villain realize his equity when we check down and he shows sth like pocket threes. Also if we check Kq on the flop are we only betting ax+ ? Or ax+and some other random air that has less equity than kq vs villains calling range? In the first scenario villain will have an easier time to get to sd with alot of hands or make us fold our equity share if he decides to bet his air often enough. On the second scenario our range for betting flop is weaker since betting ax + kq > betting ax + q5. Which means we can barrel less turns or barrel with a range that has less equity vs villain's turn calling range . And barreling with less equity makes it more likely for us to spew.If on the other hand we barrel less turns, since our range that we get to the turn after we bet the flop is weaker, then villain will have an easier decision on the river with his weaker holdings either betting or check calling.

Yes but when we check flop with kq we don't know that.
