well it beats the exact same precieved bluffs, im not shoveing worse then J9 for value, and hes good enough to not autocall AT putting me on like JT or something lol
and im far from always full of it, i had to join the nittrain since i started pklaying on stars |

man idk i'm way too bad to fold AT to river shove, i'd pause for a couple seconds and be like "hm maybe he has J9 or a boat, hope he doesn't have one of those" and click call.
i know you said you don't like your bluff here, but if you shove KQ even some small % aren't you shoving KJ or AJ significantly more (like, enough to make him call with something close enough to the top of his range as AT?) |

im kind of wierd when it comes to frequencys, im alot about gameflow and i wouldnt add bluffs in this spot with like, the weakest part of my range, just for the sake of haveing a few bluffs, because i dont have all that worked out (like all these excuse me but, math nit GTOtype guys, im a little bit jelous of their off the table work ethic tbh).
i would hate life with J9 if i was him, since im pretty much hopeing at best for a split against my valuerange, and in todays uberdiciplined "boring" games i dont see ppl bluffing too much in these spots ^^ and i would muck against alot of guys with my Tx
but ppl arent bluffing for a reason too, in these narrow range type spots against a BU vs BB spot to begin with singleraised, i think its optimistic of me to bluff here, ever.
but i thought i would have a supersolid image in his eyes and i block QT so i went for it, and i think it worked out.
i might be completely off, just talking about this makes me sad over how solid todays NL games are on stars, atleast on midstakes like this and up |

makes sense. i wasn't trying to go too GTO-tard mode with the KJ example, just thinking (all other factors being equal) you'd be a bit more likely to bluff it than KQ.
btw that does sound depressing wrt games, time for some 200000/400000 SEK gogogogo |

I like these post hoc ergo propter hoc type of discussions. When in doubt
a) add more imaginary hands into your imaginary range to make things right
b) insert reasoning for your opponent to act the way he did
Sometimes GTFO works better than GTO. Also blocking QT must be the smallest of concerns in this spot, wtf ?! It makes a 0.001% difference. |
