and why reraise so little pre? you're out of position, shouldn't you be reraising a lot more than that...? he has odds to call with almost any 2 considering 120bb's and he has position... |

if you expect him to bluff diamonds here wouldn't a better line to be to make a half-pot bet ont he turn to look like a blocking bet and then call a raise and c/c any river? this line doesn't make much sense, although it's possible vaesolis could stack off with AQ here since he has stationish tendencies, i doubt he's putting any money in with AJ, and you get more money out of AQ by frontbetting the turn anyway since it's possible (and obviously very reasonable) that he folds AQ to the checkraise as well.
i don't understand this hand. |

48, and its a big deal because now you have any hand that he raises with (no one is folding that bet) and you have basically no information regarding his holding. You might as well just have called, cuz now you have to play an even bigger pot out of postion with virtually same amount of information as before. :

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

it's vaesolis, i have no information about his holding regardless of if i raise to 32, 40, or 60
40 seems ok but all raising to something like 60 would do is get me in trouble. im oop and he's a great player.
at no point did i expect him to fold to my reraise. i reraised to isolate the pot to just me and him and to disguise my future hands that i reraise. the more hands i reraise, the harder it is to tell what i have when i reraise. |
