its pretty reasonable for him to have some combos of KK JJ TT Q9 or even AQ. could even be bluffing AA that he didnt want to on the turn. not to mention that 3betting ranges from specifically the big blind are more high card heavy than sb vs button ranges or stuff like button vs cutoff so unless you have some read that he 3bets a shitload here hes probably calling more of his middle hands and 3betting mostly bigger stuff. also raising isnt credible given your turn check back and the fact that most of his strong value hands will just spite call cause of this (certainly Q9+ calls, and sets probably call as well). this is a snap fold imo
in order to not be exploitable in a spot like this, i think you should consider checking back any Q9 hands that you have on the turn or calling the river with any KJ/KT combos (which block the sets a little more effectively) or hands that block Qx like KQQ

Yea I'd fold too. Not hating a flop raise depending on the opponent but calling is probably better.

Yea I did fold and I think its a fine play, but I mostly posted this because I am unsure what range should I be calling here with. At the time it seemed to me that I might be exploitable in this spot folding 2 pairs, but in retrospect I probably have enough Q9 or sets/good2pairs + Q blockers to not being exploitable here too much.
