not expecting a lot of FDs cause you have a blocker, you have so little invested, you can get away from it

but I am not familiar with ranges and equities here

think you need a better redraw than AA, stove it though they really aren't that deep at all

I did some calcs and it looks like a close fold with the ranges I assumed.

If I didnt have the Ah but another Ace instead, it would get to almost breakeven between getting allin and folding.

Here is one ppt simulation:
board: 4hKh8d
Hand Equity
AhKsAs4c 23.15%
3%-25%: (Ahh,Qhh,Jhh,KK,88,44,K8,K4,567:hh,K:hh,8:hh,4:hh) 37.33%
3%-25%: (Ahh,Qhh,Jhh,KK,88,44,K8,K4,567:hh,K:hh) 39.53%

And we need around 28% in this specific hand.

there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)Last edit: 23/06/2013 20:47

question about your stove. do those flush ranges add in all possible flush combos suited to that card (including ones villain wont actually have i.e. Qh82h5) because in that case sets/k8 (the hands that really hurt your equity) will be a smaller % of combos than in reality making your true equity worse than calculated.

It will add all hands that are also in the top 3%-25% hands according to ppt 6max hand ranking, so Qh852h wont be there I think. I tried somewhat tighter pf ranges too and it made just a small difference. For example with 3%-20% pf ranges, it went down to 22% equity instead of 23%.

I clicked allin in the last second, they had 8855 and QT99+hearts. Hearts won.

think this is a clear fold when you consider player 4 is still left to act and he is deep with you
