The exact way you played it. Maybe take a stab at the pot, but only 1 barrel.

bet flop to see where you are
he also only made a 1/7 pot bet on the turn, doesnt look veery strong but on this board u nearly only can have strong hands
but maybe he has a even smaller pocket pair and wanted to see now if he is ahead or not by betting very thin and see what you do.
so i probably would have raised his turnbet to something around 70% pot and if he reraises than fold

lol call turn, every Q and T helps and it's terribly bad to fold. You might even be ahead against lower pocket pairs and he might shut down on river.
