Its not about the luck, but AQs is a too good of a starting hand to just limp. You gotta extract value with the strong hands and u start building the pot before the flop.

raise preflop.. after someone limps at least 5bb on nl2!

if youre so result-oriented as you say, what would you do with AQs next time? just fold it preflop because someone might flop a set and you lose?! makes little sense you see?
