didnt 3 bet pre cuz this guy's 4b range is pretty tight and value heavy
coulda c/r turn but passed for a few reasons
river donk seems very credible and really hard to call in his spot |

Why are we check calling this flop?
I don't understand this whole float OOP thing in ring games. |

it's a value call |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |

its not really a float, we have the best hand a high % of the time and have decent equity against most holdings, its quite marginal if not EV- with the K on the flop and board texture that will allow him to 2nd barrel very often. |

if you're not calling a hand this good on the flop you're getting cbet to death imo
you could x/r but this hand has showdown value, backdoor potential, and ability to get a street or 2 of value out of 2nd best hands (Ax probably 2 streets, Qx probably 1 street)

Hm I understand that we have the best hand a reasonable % of the time, but aren't we going to get barreled to death on these kinds of boards?
I mean I get calling if it's like a k72 flop or something, but this kind of flop seems like we're gonna have a hard time OOP with getting barreled by tons of hands that have good equity and hands that can v-bet light because generally our range being kind of capped due to c/c on such a drawy board. Just seems like we're going to have bad time OOP after c/c on this type of board.

i like this play alot. on the river you're mostly repping KJ, but also sometimes 67, 68, 69 and also villain would see you as having SD value the majority of the rest of your range. You wouldn't often have a missed draw here playing so passively to turn into a bluff very often. Narrow bluff range So it looks legit.

that may be so but having a hand as weak as this as part of your flop check/calling range seems pretty marginal at best. if villain can capable at all i feel he could use this to his advantage and not to his detriment. |
