I actually feel like I got more information from his just calling my half pot bet on the turn, then check calling. I was planning on folding to his lead out on the river, or checking back if he checked a third time, but I can't fold top 2 here. |

I guess my thinking here was, if I check back the turn, it gives him the ability to fire the river with say TT, JJ etc thinking that I'm giving up, and that kind of leaves me in a tough spot if the river isn't a K or T. He could have easily called the flop with hands like that, deciding to float 1 street. Maybe I'm not getting something here? |

Epic nits don't float or try to get you off a K here with an underpair. Thinking about situations is good, but you always have to calculate your opponents tendencies. They do NOT think like you! (well I guess some do, to an extent. But not the "epic nits" ) |

My favourite line is Bet/Fold. I bet, you fold. | Last edit: 15/08/2013 10:15 |

and you checking turn doesnt make you not having a king
