How many times have you seen him do this to you or to others before this hand?

Was he playing all his value hands and all his one pair/draw hands this aggressively once he's 2 barreled?

And finally, how much are you up on him?

We have history of me raising turns to check back rivers. So it was only a matter of time before he shipped light. I just didnt expect it to be that light.

And of note. My raise sizing makes villain think that my range is weaker since im not setting up stacks for a river shove.

This is rly good in aggro bvb battles.
He shoved because he blocks sets and has good equity against draws, would have been good against people uncapable of widening their value range unlike our LP pro right here.
I know Tom taught me not to raise combo draws without clearly committing myself on the turn but people still do it and the shove will make them hate their life

but ye like TimDawg I'd be interested to know what your full range would be in this spot and if KJ is the bottom of value part of it?

93% Sure! Last edit: 24/10/2013 07:22

Hmm raising turns to check back rivers seems really weird

I can't think of any situations where that would be good off the top of my head. Can you give an example?

situations where they will always db fds or straight draws. But are unable to ship over my turn raise. and also think they have implied odds to get paid if they hit their hand.

K10+ AQ is the bottom of my value range vs this opponent. He is almost always calling turn with a K and a Q. Which lets me take my showdown or shove for value depending on rivers.
