his bet size makes me want to call i dont think a flush or a ten would bet that big because it seems like you dont have much. most people would try to get payed off there and not bet so big

The thing is, most 2NL fish won't raise a fd on the flop. Anyway, I think you can get away from this, leading the river like that feels to me just as a desperate attempt to get paid, not wanting to risk check raising in case you check back.

Against this villain I raise the flop big and bomb the turn.
His range should not have AA in it, but most certainly contains JJ, some top pairs, random one pair hands, flush draws, 89s some of the time.
He is unlikely to fold those hands against a raise once he reraises himself.

Try using

to check different boards and figure out your equity against all his holdings. if you expect him to call when you raise and you have >50% equity against his continuing range (range that doesn't fold) always raise, and at these stakes, raise big in any situation and you will do fine.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same
